Q. Can you match the original style of my existing windows and doors?

  • A. We can replicate the features of period sash windows or doors, and we can also add modern security features, such as door and window locks.

Q. Do you use your own fitters and joiners?

  • A. We are professional fitters and joiners, who are proud to be within the business for more than 40 years. We can design and build from start to finish, sustaining a high standard of skill and expertise.

Q. I need to replace my sash windows, but I live in a conservation area – am I required to obtain permission to do so?

  • A. Yes, you will need to seek permission before such work can commence, please speak to your local authority.

Q. I was told uPVC is better than timber frames…

  • A. It is a very common mis-conception – wood frames are not only sustainable, they also retain heat and are highly durable, withstanding the test of time for more than a century. uPVC on the other hand degrades and discolours after 20 years. Timber frames can be repaired easily, with minimal upkeep.
